Dr Steve James |
Steven James is a specialist consultant musculoskeletal radiologist whose NHS base is the Royal Orthopaedic Hospital, Birmingham. After undertaking his radiology training in Nottingham, he completed a fellowship in musculoskeletal radiology at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in London. He has co-authored over 75 peer reviewed scientific papers and maintains a strong research and academic interest. He lectures regularly at both a national and international level. Dr James has developed a particular interest in the diagnosis of sports related injuries and provides imaging services for a wide variety of professional and elite sports organisations. He undertakes musculoskeletal ultrasound, MRI, CT and intervention. The primary base for his practice is Priory Hospital, Edgbaston, Birmingham however he also performs imaging at a number of other sites across the Birmingham area.
