Dr Nick Evans

Dr N Evans undertook all his medical and radiological training in Birmingham and the West Midlands. Having obtained his Fellowship of the Royal College of Radiologists he accepted a split site post between The Royal Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and The University of Birmingham NHS Hospital Trust. His interests centred upon musculo-skeletal imaging. For the last 2 years his NHS post has been based exclusively at the Royal Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, Birmingham. He has always been interested in research and has joint authorship of numerous publications and has been a faculty member at both national and local meetings. His particular interest is MRI of the musculo-skeletal system including spinal imaging. His experience extends back to 1990 when he was involved with one of the earliest MRI scanners in the West Midlands. Since that time his practice has developed to a point where the majority of his time is spent with musculo-skeletal MRI. He also undertakes a wide variety of other musculo-skeletal studies and has a small medico-legal practice.
